The southern end of the Durrës coast: a wide beach, pines, and land that is still priced by the are.

Spille is the beach at the southern end of the Durrës coast, about 35 km from the city and administratively part of Rrogozhinë. The sand runs for kilometres with a pine belt behind it, and the lagoons near the mouth of the Shkumbin keep the area low-rise: a few small hotels on the front, holiday houses in the pines, and farmland in Rreth-Greth and Vilë-Bashtovë that is being sold as plots. What is on the market here is mostly land, priced per square metre, plus hotel buildings and the first apartment blocks. It suits a buyer who wants a plot near the sea at a fraction of Golem prices and is prepared to wait for infrastructure; the road from Rrogozhinë is the only access and services are seasonal.
